It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rowena Antonio, known to her family as Rona and to friends as Weng. After 5 long years and painful battle with breast cancer, she is finally free of pain at the age of 56.

Rowena was a selfless, loving, kind and supportive daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She worked a lot to support her family back home. She even worked harder when she finally reunited with her family here in Canada. And with the little time she had when she was not working, she enjoyed fully with her family.

Rowena leaves behind her husband, 2 children and a very young grandson who are all heartbroken. She was our rock and guiding light, and we are truly lost without her.

As our family navigate through this devastating and painful loss, we also need help by way of prayers and financial means. Sadly, the long years of battle with cancer has left us financially unstable and the cost is a lot for us to handle. We humbly ask for your support by praying for her soul, praying for the family she left behind, and by donating any amount you can and sharing this page.
