Rowel is a 26 year old brother, son and uncle who works in the Philippines as a Jeepney driver. His family is not well off and lives to serve his people and community, he continuously works hard to provide and doesn’t ask for anything at all just to spend time with his family and enjoy his life.

A humble and gracious young man who’s life changed forever just 5 days ago.

5 days ago he was experiencing symptoms of a terrible migraine. Just weeks ago the headache was minor and tolerable, but by Monday it was excruciating and unbearable. Rowel escorted himself to the emergency room at the hospital and later that night, discovered through an MRI and CT scan, that he had a tumor on one side of his brain; he was told that it was at least 50% the capacity of his brain.

He contacted his immediate family in the Philippines and his father in Australia to share the devastating news.

Both his father and his father’s partner flew over to Australia, sacrificing everything to see Rowel.

The doctors notified them both that the brain surgery is going to cost upwards of $35,000 AUD.

which is no where near accessible for his family.

Unfortunately we have had to create a go fund me page to ask for help. None of our family come from much, a lot of our parents are immigrants who have sacrificed their whole world to give us the best life possible.
