As many of you already know  my cousin Rowdy was in a terrible vehicle accident Friday night.
Currently Rowdy is in ICU at River Bend Hospital. His status is stable at this time. There are several stages involved with Rowdy’s medical treatment for the injuries he sustained. He is in a medically induced coma and will likely remain this way for about a week to give his body time to heal. 
Yesterday he went in for surgery for his left femur break where they placed a rod and also operated on his left arm break and is now in splints. The left knee may need to be replaced but is unknown for now.
Rowdy also has some lung bruises for which the staff is treating conservatively. As of now Rowdy is on a breathing tube but we were updated last night that he is finally breathing on his own, but they are short breaths so the tube remains to help him.
Rowdy has a significant concussion and small brain bleed that they believe will resolve on its own. Waiting for more info from neurosurgeon. 
Rowdy has a fracture on his spine that is up in the neck 1 point, so he will wear a neck brace (no surgery required at this point). He responds to pain in areas he needs to be responding to. Which is great news but we won't know more until he is awake.
Due to COVID protocol people are not allowed in the hospital.
This is a difficult time for all Rowdy’s family and friends so praying for him is the best thing for everyone to do.

I have set up this go fund me to help with living expenses and any medical bills to come  He has a very long road to recovery with lots of rehab in his future. With such injuries I am sure he will be out of work for quite some time so anything helps! 

Rowdy is such a strong young man and he is a fighter so we know he will get through this! He can use any and all good thoughts his way. This will be a very tough road for him to go down but he is blessed with a village and we can't thank all of you enough for the love and support we have already received. We love you Rowdy!
