Rowan's next step in healing post spinal fusion

This is the story of Rowan Luna, my 16-year-old daughter who will bravely be walking the path of healing after a 10+ hour spinal fusion surgery this week. I still remember the joy of seeing her take her first steps as a baby, and now I feel the same emotions even as she sits up in the hospital bed then on to her feet with a bit of help. She is the strongest person I know, and in her time of need, she gives me the courage to face this challenge with her. Never did I imagine that the strength I needed would be inspired by the one I'm here to help my daughter Rowan. But we can't do it alone.
