Help Rowan Sanchez get the care he needs

Hi everyone

As many of you know I have taken on the new role as a cat mom to my 6 week old sweet boy, Rowan Sanchez . Over the past few days of coming home for my thanksgiving break Rowan has fallen ill, and we had not known why until he was recently diagnosed with parvo, a life-threatening virus for little kittens his age. Parvo (Panleukopenia) is an infection that causes a decrease in the white blood cells, therefore causing the immune system to be depleated. Although this is a very serious virus, the veterianarian believes we were able to catch it at an ideal time that would enable Rowan to make a full recovery. But, fostering him back to full health has now required 24hr hospital stays while in an incubator on antibiotics and fluids in the nearest animal hospital to my parents home. This has now become an enormous expense that I cannot handle alone as I am a law student taking on loans to get through school and I am not allowed to work my entire first year of school.

I want more than anything to help foster him back to full health as he is making progress under the care he currently has but I cannot possibly do this expense alone. This is not me to typically ask for help in this way, it puts me in a very vulnerable position, but I am completely broken at the thought of losing him. Rowan has been such a blessing in my life and for my personal mental health journey. He has brought me so much happiness and joy after an extremely difficult year of many personal losses and challenges. I want to try to do anything I can to help him survive this horrible virus.
