Rowan LL 12U Girls Chasing the Dream
Donation protected
Our Rowan Little League 11/12-year-old girls’ softball team won the North Carolina championship and represented the state in the 2019 Southeast Regional Tournament in Warner Robins, Georgia. In this tournament the team was undefeated with wins against Virginia, Florida, Tennessee, and finally West Virginia, outscoring their opponents 16 to 5. These young ladies will now represent the Southeastern United States in the 2019 Little League Softball World Series (LLSBWS) in Portland, Oregon beginning August 5th.
Although our organization is based in Rowan County, this team is made up of young ladies from Mooresville, Salisbury, China Grove, Cleveland, and Mt. Ulla. The team members attend China Grove, Corriher Lipe, Knox, Mooresville, Southeast and West Rowan Middle Schools. As with any local youth sports organization we depend on donations from individuals, and businesses to operate.
For each of the young ladies on this team, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity, a dream many of them have had since 2015 when their predecessors won the Little League World Series Championship. We are asking for your support and/or donation in helping us to send them to the Pacific Northwest to participate in the LLSBWS. Any donation, no matter how large or small will greatly be appreciated. Thank you in advance for your support in helping these young ladies continue chasing this dream.
