Rowan Edgell is only nine months old, but he has already faced more than most of us will in a lifetime. Shortly after his birth, his parents, Zachary and Serena, discovered a fast-growing lump on his hand. Their worst fears were confirmed when Rowan was diagnosed with infantile fibrosarcoma, a rare cancer that affects only one in five million babies. The initial treatment options were heartbreaking: chemotherapy or amputation. But through determination and hope, Rowan was able to access an innovative genetic treatment that offered a chance at saving his hand without chemotherapy. The fight to get this treatment was long and exhausting for everyone, but it’s working. Rowan’s tumor is responding, his health is improving, and most importantly, his joyful smile is back. While this breakthrough has brought hope, Rowan’s journey is far from over. Ongoing medical care, travel expenses given their location, and costs that insurance will not cover continue to place a heavy financial burden on his family. Zachary and Serena are focusing on what matters most—helping Rowan heal and grow—but they can’t do it alone. Your support can make a difference. Every donation helps cover medical, travel, and uncovered insurance expenses. This will give Rowan's family peace of mind as they continue this fight. If you’re unable to donate, sharing Rowan’s story is just as meaningful. Thank you for standing with Rowan and helping this brave little boy continue his journey toward a healthy, happy life.
