Row for STEM to Stern

This weekend (2/5-2/7), Ella Niehoff and I are breaking the tandem LWT U-19 world record and rowing for a total of 50 hours.  We are dedicating this row to a special organization called STEM to Stern who aims to eliminate barriers of participation and increase representation in the rowing community. Some barriers include lack of transportation, swimming lessons, and club fees. 

Additionally, the organization promotes a STEM education that teaches critically thinking and problem solving skills. Combined with a focused STEM education, STEM to Stern participants gain both academic, social, and physical skills to be successful. 

We urge you to support this amazing organization that breaks down traditional access barriers in both the STEM and rowing communities.  Thank you.
