Hello and good day. I am writing this with a sad heart. My nephew was airlifted from his house due to a head injury. He is 5 years old and was jumping on the bed; what 5-year-old doesn’t? He fell off and hit his head on a vanity on a Saturday. On Sunday, he complained of a headache, and his mother put ice where he said it hurt, and everything was fine. Until later that night, luckily, she woke up to check on him, realizing that he had vomited and was covered in sweat. She tried to wake him up, but he was unconscious. She called EMS, and they immediately called for a life flight. My little nephew was fighting for his life, and his mother was his saving grace. He had to have immediate brain surgery due to a fractured skull and a hemorrhage. None of this was a clear appearance nor expected. For those with kids, it’s very common during play. Needless to say, I am asking, if you can, to please donate to help my sister out with costs during this trying time. She is a single mom, working two jobs to provide for her baby. I don’t want money to be a concern for her right now; she needs to focus on her son. And yes, the family is helping her, but it doesn’t cover the shifts she would work. If you can’t help, we understand. We really need prayers. The Lord WILL restore this young boy to do great things.
