Hello everyone. My name is Brandi and I am starting a go fund me for my sister who was diagnosed with colon cancer last year. She underwent surgery and chemotherapy, but unfortunately the cancer has returned and has spread to other areas. April will need now to see multiple specialists. Currently she has an appointment at SLU and MAYO to see if she would be a candidate for a special treatment. If she is unable to get this treatment, then she will be on palliative care and try to prevent spread/enlargement of the tumor. This treatment will take her away from work routinely. It will also lead to having to travel to the specialty appointments in different states. I am hoping to alleviate some financial burden, due to travel, medical expenses, and need to be away from work routinely. We may not be able to take away the emotional stress that comes with this news but maybe we can help her with financial stress.

April is only 44 years old and has only helped others in her life as a nurse. She is great wife, mother and grandmother. I truly hope that she is only blessed from this day forward.
