Rothwell Corinthians fc

As Many of you will know, Rothwell Corinthians is non-profit football club run by volunteers - doing as much fund raising as possible to ensure we can keep providing football in the community.

However, like many other grassroots club, we face ever increasing pitch maintenance costs and we are looking for help towards the costs of equipment to keep this going. Unfortunately, over recents days, we had had some significant vandalism to on of our seating areas, where over 20 seats have been deliberately set on fire. This has caused over an estimated £2000 worth of damage and making the area unusable.

Having heard about other clubs raising money via different ways, our grounds team, who spend countless hours throughout the year preparing our 2 pitches for the adults and children, need help to replace some of the equipment.

Sadly there are only so many times the equipment can be repaired and relying heavily on the generosity of loans of equipment from other local organisations- and although we exhaust these avenues as much as we can, we desperately need to replace are equipment.

We are hopeful that if lots of people give a small amount, we will be able to raise sufficient funds in the future to buy the necessary machinery and grounds equipment to ensure grassroots football can carry on for a long time within the town.

We want to continue making our football club a fantastic place for young footballers to play, providing a good set up for the future steps in to senior football.
