My Name is Elisa Argüelles and I have created this GoFund Me page on behalf of my best friend/sister Rosario “Rosy” Manzano.
In November of 2016 my dear friend received the diagnosis of breast cancer. Although it has been understandably overwhelming, Rosy has remained true to her beautiful spirit and her selfless personality. I am in awe of her bravery, optimism and determination. Her light has never shined so bright, but she needs our help to continue down this road.
After undergoing a bilateral mastectomy in January 2017, she is now beginning 12 weeks of intensive chemotherapy which will be followed by radiation therapy. Please keep Rosy in your daily prayers as she begins her journey to restored health.
To help defray out of pocket medical costs, lost time at work, food, medications, and incidentals associated with long term medical care, this fund has been created to encourage Rosy to focus only on her recovery and to assist her during this difficult time. I am asking for prayers and financial contributions of any amount. Every single one of your donations, no matter how small, will be helpful and so very much appreciated.
As much as we'd like to, we cannot beat Rosy's cancer. We can't take on her pain or suffering. What we can and will do is be right there next to her every step of the way. And try to help ease the financial burden of this terrible disease. Any form of help will make a huge difference in the life of this wonderful and courageous woman.
