It was the summer of 2019 when the Ross family heard the words “it’s cancer.” For four years, Darren Ross has been putting up one hell of a fight against Glioblastoma. To look at him, you would never believe he has endured seven brain surgeries and the removal of four tumors ranging in the size of a bead to a Clementine. You see, Darren is the definition of a true warrior- a brave soldier who doesn’t back down in the face of adversity. His incredible tenacity, determination and perseverance are evident as he continues to fight this terrible disease. Just this past spring Mel took a leave of absence to stand beside her husband and best friend. Now it’s our turn to stand beside and support the family who has always supported us- whether it’s fundraising coaching, teaching, volunteering or just being a great community member and friend.
