As a lot of people are probably aware by now that rossett community cupboard have taken over the old pharmacy shop on Chester road we are going to be opening it as a not for profit community shop our plan is for it to firstly pay for it's self then help with financial support to the food cupboard

Over the 3 and a half year the food cupboard has been running we have been able to support so many local groups such as cubs, scouts, guides, brownies supplying food for various camps sending cakes for rossett pensioners club and we have supported many more local events we have supported wrexham county council, citizens advise North Wales police with emergency food parcels for those that truely are the most vulnerable with in our community and that's not to mention the 300+ people that walk through our door on a weekly basis over 100 Christmas day hampers have been donated over the last few years

And then there are the fun things we like to do like our massive egg hunt for the kids at Easter Santas Christmas float giving every child at St Peters a cold drink and ice lolly on fun run day and simply just putting as much as we can back into our community as possible

We are asking for a bit of help with set up costs at the shop this is for things like insurances business rates setting broadband up setting electricity supply up topping stock up to get us started and the list goes on we need to make this shop a great success so the cupboard can carry on doing the work that we all love doing so much
