My dad, Ross, is one of those people who's impression stays with you long after meeting him. He's the guy that taught many of us how to drive. The man who is always ready with a winding, seemingly unrelated story that somehow imparts wisdom you might have needed. A man who was known to volunteer to watch 20-24 pre-teens so that he could be there for his son's or daughter's field trips, even after back to back 12 hour shifts at the hospital. That was him at home.

As a Respiratory Therapist, he has dedicated 35 years of his life securing the breath of life. Rarely taking vacations to support his family, 2024 promised a reprieve. It marked the time for him to plan his well-deserved break from the hustle and bustle: Retirement. Unfortunately, early this year, he was hit with news that would take it all away. He was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer.

When we were younger, we had heard of a saying about Warriors "The mark of a warrior is that they are the ones willing to fight until 10 minutes after it's over". My dad is a warrior.

We plan to fight this and we need your help. This is an opportunity to give back to someone who has been there for us and maybe even for you. It is a time when we can come together to help someone who has been there for all of us.
