You never think it’s going to happen to you until it does. On May 28th, the rental house of my mom, Tamara Ross, and her husband, Robby Grant, caught fire with their 5-year-old emotional support dog, Daisy, trapped inside. The fire department arrived just before my mom and pulled Daisy’s lifeless body from the smoke-filled home. Daisy received emergency medical support to resuscitate and transport her to the animal hospital. After oxygen therapy and IV support, it seems she will survive this terrible event. On top of the immediate medical payments required for Daisy’s care, the fire destroyed everything in the house.
This tragedy has occurred after ongoing extensive medical services for Robby’s debilitating neuropathy and Tourette’s syndrome, making their financial situation even more difficult. Daisy means everything to them, providing comfort and support through tough times. Now, with the loss of their home and mounting medical bills, they are struggling to recover.
Funds raised will go directly toward emergency medical bills for Daisy, replacing lost belongings, and piecing their life back together. Any support will help them get back on their feet and bring hope during this incredibly hard time. Please consider donating or sharing their story to help them rebuild.
