Ross and his wonderful Emotional Support Dog, Monster have been homeless for over two years. Ross is a native of Pacifica and has lived here all his life. He suffered two serious head injuries, one as a toddler and a second one as a young teen. He has a disability and needs help. There's been an overwhelming response from the community in Pacifica and there were several requests to set up this fundraiser.
With winter coming, there's great concern for Ross and Monster needing shelter during bad weather. Where they are currently living in the woods is actually unsafe during storms and high wind. The funds raised will be used for them to be able to stay in a motel during difficult conditions. The funds may also be used towards other needs.
It's been really great to see so much support from the community. Thank you very much to everyone for your help!
12/16 Update - The new goal is to get a trailer home due to the loss of rent assistance. An ideal location is being offered by property owners who have generously agreed to drastically reduced rent that Ross can afford out of his disability income. Let's get them home!
