On Good Friday, April 2nd 2021, I was heading to Watchung reservoir to explore the Deserted village with my close friend in a Kia Soul I was renting. I waited in the appropriate space to make my turn with my signal on, there were cars still passing and I saw a space between them and a yellow car to make my turn.

Once I was about to get the right away, my car was slammed from on the passenger rear end. My car spun out, the air bags did not deploy and my face met the steering wheel.
I don’t have pictures of the car due to my state of shock and pain, but the back bumper came off, most of the back window glass shattered and the tire popped, even one of my side mirror broke off.
The car that rear ended me was speeding and not paying attention, the car was a Ford F150 series, I believe. ** Correction: Ford F-350 **
I work as a driver, but many of you know that I also professional model. My nose is fractured and I need surgery, I also need to get my swollen eye examined for further damage.

I do not currently have health care.
Im asking for the amount I am to cover my lost income from my two professions, surgery, medical needs, therapy and lawyer fees. Also, because this is a rental and they were not the ones to tow it, I will continue to be charged until the car is retrieved from the company that towed the damaged car. My weekly rate is $310 and was told the car will be retrieved in 5-7 business days.
I will also be providing my friend who was also hurt, but thankful not to my level, money from this gofundme. He’s a full time college student and teacher, along with being his mother’s sole care taker/ provider. He is currently having problems walking and has back issues.
Im very grateful to be alive throughout being hit while being at a stop and the speed it happened while the air bags also not going off. Grateful that my friend was alive and well enough and there to hug me. I am grateful for the kindness of the person in the yellow car who waited for the police to tell them what happened and what they saw. Grateful for the bystanders who helped. And I’ll be ever so grateful to you who donate during this intense part of my life.
