Hey everyone :)

I have officially been accepted into YWAM ( Youth With a Mission ) Heidebeek’s Discipleship Training school ( DTS ) from September to February!

Here is some more info about what my DTS will include and what I am asking you to consider giving towards:

During this DTS there are two phases:

1- Lecture Phase

2- Outreach Phase

I will be completing the Lecture phase in the Netherlands for 3 months. During this time I will be going deeper into Gods word, growing in my identity in Him and learning more about Gods heart for mission and how I can outwork this. I am also doing a focused track on music during the lecture phase where I will be learning about worship, hearing Gods voice and leading worship. I’m believing that this time will strengthen my relationship with God and increase my knowledge of mission.

The outreach phase will then be in another country ( destination to be confirmed! ) for just under 3 months. There I will put into practice all I have learnt from the lecture phase and serve the community around me by demonstrating the love of Jesus to them and sharing the Gospel. I have always had a love for people and found joy in serving others whether that’s in my job or simply looking after and caring for people. I believe that God is calling me to use that love and heart for people through YWAM and particularly during the outreach phase.

I am so excited for all God is going to do during my DTS and am ready to get out of the comfort of my normal everyday life and step into this new opportunity with God.

I’m aiming to raise £6,500 which will cover the cost of the school (both the outreach and lecture phase), travel and necessities for the school.
