Hello, my name is Olivia and my darling cat, Rosie, has experienced trauma to her jaw causing her to be unable to close her mouth. My partner and I are clueless as to what happened this morning as she is an indoor cat who never gets into any trouble. MedVet is currently putting her under anesthesia to get an xray to see if it is bone related. If it is not then they will perform a CT scan to see if it is related to a dental issue which would cost $3000. If it is dental she will need to be taken to Greenville NC for an emergency appointment- cost is unknown at this time.

My partner, Mitchell, and I fostered Rosie from the wonderful Feline Urgent Rescue (FUR WNC) back in 2023 and we have been in love with her since- hence the foster fail. She loves the sun, cuddling with Olivia at any time of day, and playing with hair ties with parental supervision. This freak accident has left us dumbfounded and we are seeking help with the costs to get her jaw back to normal. Before this she was a very healthy and happy cat.
