Help Rosie Get Her Service dog!

Donation protected
At first glance, Rosie looks like most 2 year olds. But when you meet her, you soon realize that she is quite different. A surviving twin, Rosie suffered a stroke in utero and has been diagnosed with right side hemiplegia (partial paralysis to her right side). Closely monitored by her neurologist, physical, occupational and speech therapists have been working with Rosie for the last year and a half. They are diligent in their attempt to activate and redirect brain signals to the right side of body. She cannot walk unassisted nor grasp or hold anything in her right hand. Because of these physical limitations, Rosie is a prime candidate for a service dog.
Since being employed at the Metropolitan Veterinarian Hospital in Copley, Rosie's mom , Kelsey has come to know Dog Whisperer, Tom Falkenstein, founder, of Stein K9. Mr. Falkenstein has been breeding and training dogs for over twenty-five years. He specializes in police dogs, obedience training, therapy and service dogs. After meeting with Rosie and seeing the interaction between her and his dogs, Mr. Falkenstein is excited to work with Rosie. He has agreed to provide Rosie with a dog that will be trained from birth, specifically for her.
