Hello, I am Rosalee; my family and friends know and call me Rosie. For a while, I had felt a lump on my right breast and felt something was wrong. I asked my primary doctor, and she said it could be my hormones. Two years later, I felt the lump was more prominent and got very concerned. I brought it up to my doctor again. I had to fight and push for further testing. In July of 2022, I received the news I dreaded hearing. I HAVE CANCER. I have been diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer.
Even though I already felt it is breast cancer, just hearing that I HAVE CANCER brought me to another world of worry and fear. One of the scariest moments of my life by far. The thoughts of how I would raise my son came to me, and I was scared. On 8/12, I had to undergo a mastectomy. After my procedure, I received my pathology results and discovered that I am now in stage 2. I met with my team of doctors, who provided me with my treatment options.
I will be starting chemotherapy this September, and radiation will follow immediately. Everything in this process is moving so fast. I am trying to keep it together for myself and my family.
All contributions will be for medical bills, expenses, copays, and treatments. Any donations are appreciated! My family and I Thank You for your contributions, prayers, and most importantly your support.
