Respond Rwanda Volunteer Trip

My daughter Sarah and I are volunteering in Rwanda this summer - in 9 weeks. It's my first time but for Sarah, at 19, it's her third trip as a volunteer. We will be working in Kigali, which is the capital of Rwanda, for 3 - 4 weeks working with Scripture Union Rwanda. There are a team of 10 of us going and our work there will be with orphaned children, local schools and the wider community. Ranging from practical d-i-y, running holiday camps for street children, and working in the local community we will have plentys to do to keep us busy over the time we are there.
As volunteers we have to raise the cost of the trip ourselves. So for Sarah and I that is £3600 and this does not include our vaccinations so if you would like to contribute to our trip in any way at all we would both be delighted and truly grateful. We have already had one fundraising event and have more planned for the coming weeks. Updates will be posted so please come along if you can.
