Let's help Rosie!!

In October of 2018, our dearest friend Rosie was diagnosed with a very rare, aggressive, intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma, or Bile Duct Cancer. This news came as a shock to Rosie and her family. Like most who are diagnosed with cancer, or receive the news that a love one has been diagnosed, they did not expect this news, and more importantly, they were not prepared for it, emotionally or financially.
Rosie began chemotherapy treatment a few weeks after being diagnosed, and though she attempted to continue working, unfortunately, her body could not handle the side effects of chemo. This loss of income has resulted in an enormous amount of pressure being placed in her family, who strive to fill this financial gap while also being unwavering in their support for their loved one.
The night before Rosie was scheduled to undergo her eleventh, and final, round of chemo, she became very sick. After being hospitalized for three days, Rosie was set home. Her family hoped that she would get better, as the doctors had promised but unfortunately her symptoms and her discomfort stayed the same. When Rosie and her family returned to the hospital, the doctors found that she had an obstruction in her intestine. As a result, Rosie required major surgery which put her recovery plan on hold. This was a major curveball that no one expected and brought her family in desperate need of help. Rosie is a fighter who continues to be positive throughout this journey and is fueled by the love and support of her family and friends. As those who love her, it is our goal to see Rosie smiling, knowing that she has beaten cancer, and living a happy, healthy life again! This fund was created to help her and her family with anticipated medical bills and other expenses they may need to navigate through this time, so that we might help them achieve that goal. Rosie is a beautiful soul who always has the best intentions, and endeavors to help anyone in need out of the kindness of her heart. Now, she and her family need our help. Rosie’s family is kindly asking for our assistance, to help relieve the financial burden that has added up throughout her battle with cancer. Many of you have expressed wanting to donate or help in some way. If this is the avenue you choose to help, thank you. And thank you for all the love, support and prayers!
