please share this post…..ANYTHING HELPS
My name is Jessica

this is so extremely hard to write…..

As most of you know Rosie has very limited time with us. She is currently unresponsive and on her journey to pain free peace. Rosie has fought harder that anyone I know to survive. She’s battled type 1 diabetes for an extremely long time.

I’ve known Rosie for 40+ years. We hadn’t seen each other for a decade before she came into the clinic, attitude and all. I became her nurse and argued with her relentlessly for 20 years regarding her medical issues (if you know Rosie, you know what I mean). In the past 8+ years I’ve become the big sister to Nicky & Austin, 2 of her grandchildren.

my point is…….
Ive had the privilege of having a front row seat to the unconditional, unwavering love she has for her family and fierce fight for life (even when the doctors didn’t have hope). She never asked or expected anything from anyone. Her happiness is/was/always her family.

if you know anything about Diabetes, especially uncontrolled, you know that she was in extreme pain for years. Total kidney failure and still fighting.

Her sons Nick and Derek will not have an easy time dealing with the devastating loss of their mom. Her grandchildren, family and friends will also struggle.

Rosie didn’t have much (in her words) but would give anything she had to someone in need. She never ever was concerned about herself.

Im asking anyone and everyone to please donate whatever they can. The boys, whom she loved more than life) both have families they need to financially care for. I pray that I can help alleviate some of the pain and sadness they’re experiencing by setting up this fund. Not to mention, I promised Rosie I would do whatever I could to help the boys.

Rosie wants to have a service, burial and luncheon. We discussed this Friday 2/23/24 in depth.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE donate what you can. I will update on Rosie’s status as it becomes available as well as service plans.
