Baxter has spent the past 7 years running and managing a 40 acre Macadamia Nut farm pouring his heart and soul into the farm he loved so much it was his peaceful happy place in this world putting an unbelievable amount of devotion into the land he loved so much.Baxter and Tori are college sweethearts we've all adored watching them grow through the years giving the true meaning of "PunaLove" anyone who knows them knows how much they loved they're community and love of life always smiling and happy they have the biggest aloha spirit with an open door always.
With the ongoing activity on Kilauea they are safe but have been evacuated and displaced. These past few days they lost they're home to the lava completely buried and destroyed.Because of the urgency to evacuate they were unable to retrieve many of they're personal belongings. On top of all that the farm (Baxters baby) worked at and loved so much was swallowed by the lava as well. With no home or lively hood to return to, and no sign of Pele slowing down its hard for anyone to imagine what they are going through right now.
Only able to pack some valuables and essentials in their vehicle, they are in need of some much needed immediate assistance. Tori whole heartedly loving what she does is very involved with the community working at the local veterinary office and with troubled youth programs, shes found her passion in life and loves helping others. And As resourceful and diligent as Baxter is hes already been able to find part-time work and has secured a temporary place for him and his family on another farm out of harms way. Even so it has been very costly, still incurring with little hope making this hardship of loosing so much even harder with a very bleak future.
Any and all contributions made will be humbly received forever appreciated and will find a way to be paid forward.
The money raised will help them secure a more permanent place to live where the air is clean.Raised money will help with basic needs, replace what they've lost and help them to get back on they're feet living a descent safe life.
Also Baxter is always looking for any kind of extra work or side jobs work trade hes a jack of all trades extremely proficient and one of the hardest/fastest workers Big island has hands down!!
