Rose's Journey: Facing Cancer Together
Donation protected
In November 2024, our sweet, happy-go-lucky, feisty Rose underwent surgery for a tumor that was hindering her bile duct from working properly. Upon removal, doctors decided to investigate further, unfortunately finding out that Rose also had a small mass in her pancreas. Just a few weeks later, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
Rose has been undergoing chemotherapy and homeopathic treatments since November, but unfortunately, the chemotherapy is making her very sick, often reducing how often she can receive treatment.
Rose was already planning to retire from her current position as an office manager in the summer of 2025, prior to her diagnosis in November. Rose has been with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources for over 20 years and we know her career has been one of the biggest highlights of her life, besides her three children and grandchildren. She doesn't know a stranger and would give the shirt off her back for anyone in need. Rose receives many visitors at the DWR front desk, where she is often greeted with a giant hug and big smiles from Utah constituents and local wildlife lovers.
This is one way we can help give back to Rose, as she will soon embark on her retirement journey. We wait patiently for current updates on her cancer journey and will continue to provide you all with information as we receive it. For now, if you can contribute, it will be appreciated. And if you can call, send thoughts, and many prayers, Rose and her family will be beyond appreciative.
This fund will go directly to Rose, as the beneficiary, with her son Coty listed as well.
