We humbly request your financial assistance with funeral expenses for Robina Kaur Gill.
Robina Kaur Gill, a daughter, dear friend, and sister unexpectedly passed away Friday May 6, 2022. Born Nov 18, 1993, she was a young soul with much more in life to experience. She was a week away from her commencement ceremony and officially obtaining her PharmD from California Northstate University College of Pharmacy in Elk Grove, Ca.
Robina Gill was sincerely a hardworking, intelligent, empathetic, and bubbly person. Robina will always be known for the infectious smile she had on her face, no matter the stressful situation, she made sure others were smiling and laughing too. She became our angel in heaven too soon. Robina’ s family and friends are feeling the loss of her in every aspect of their lives.
We (her friends & family) are hoping to raise money for her unexpected funeral and other related financial expenses. We wish to help her family from any financial burdens. Robina has left behind her mother, Baljit Kaur Gill, and her brother, Robert Gill. She was the gem of their tiny but loving family. She meant everything to them. Robina’s mom has been ill for quite some time, so in addition to Robina’s jobs and school, she was a full-time caregiver of her mother. Robina managed her mother’s medications & doctor appointments along with whatever else was needed.
Every cent raised will go towards the cost of the funeral, and any other related expenses that the family has/will incur. The funeral will be Thursday May 19, from 11am- 1pm at Twin Cities Chapel in Yuba City, Ca. Any amount donated will truly be appreciated. My name is Pawan Sahota and I’m a close friend and co-worker of Robina’s. Every cent raised will be given to the family to help with chapel services and prayer services at the Gurdwara. From all of her family and friends, we thank you for all the support and love given to Robina and her family.
A few words about Robina from her loved ones…
Robina was one of the sweetest and kindest person anyone had ever met, she had this smile and energy that she carried around with her and just seemed to make everything better around her. Robina was one of the hardest working individuals any of us had known. She worked at CVS Pharmacy in Gridley as an intern/pharmacy technician for 10 years since 2012. She also worked as an intern pharmacist at Sierra Vista Psychiatric Hospital and at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, Ca. She had gotten an offer to become a full time pharmacist at CVS Pharmacy in Oroville, Ca & was just about to join the pharmacy team at Orchard Hospital in Gridley, Ca. Her experience itself shows us how much of an impact not only did she have on the lives around her but also all the communities she went too.
Robina was a selfless, loving, and incredibly talented woman. Anyone in her life was lucky to have such a supportive and caring friend like her. She loved the tiny things in life from just bringing coffee for her friends and co-workers to just buying a bag full of Kit Kats because she was obsessed with Kit Kats and made others around her obsessed too. She loved everything Micheal Jackson and most of all her favorite thing to do was to eat tons of good food and drink boba. She was a passionate and ambitious individual, she went through all of pharmacy school holding all of those jobs, supporting her family and still getting good grades. Robina just had this unique way with people. She was always so caring, funny and uplifting…and her smile and laughter alone would cheer up anyone. She was always such a positive influence and a strong supporter.
Robina was loving to everyone but she was also a private person and it took time to earn her trust but once you did she was the best friend anyone could have in their life. She loved making her friends and family feel loved and special during birthdays and holidays but she was the type of person that she didn’t need a special occasion to spoil her loved ones. If she considered you close, she did something or gave them something to show her appreciation and love and never expected anything but love back. Robina had a very big heart not only for her friends and family but everyone that was around her. Her kindness and generosity will live on in everybody’s hearts and memories. She left a huge void in everyone’s life and her energy will be missed everywhere. She will watch over us as our beautiful angel.
Robina was such an achingly beautiful soul with a lot of love to give. Throughout the entire journey of her life she never shied away from assisting someone or taking on their burdens as her own in order to make that person walk away with a smile. Truly everything she touched blossomed with happiness only personifying the angel she was in our eyes. As much as she was an angel she was also tough as nails with the best taste in music and extracurriculars consisting of lifting weights, watching Peaky Blinders (from where most of her tough as nails attitude came from), and blasting some heavy rock music. In our entire lifetime we have never met a woman quite as tenacious, and bold, yet at the same time loving, caring, kind hearted and sweet spirited such as Robina. Until next time we meet our achingly beautiful soul.
It is a loss for this world to not have Robina physically here. Her smile, her energy, her giving personality is what the world needs. Showing up for her friends and family without a doubt. Every memory will stay and she will be talked about with such love. Grateful for the opportunity to know such a beautiful soul. She will Be forever missed here by many.
