Roses For A Cure

My name is Nick Sidor and I am the treasurer of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity at High Point University. For Valentine’s Day this year, my fraternity brothers and I have been selling roses in order to raise money for ALS research. For the past week, students have been able to purchase a rose for $5 to be delivered by a Kappa Sigma brother to a person of their choosing on February 14th. While this has proven to be successful, we’ve come up with the idea of contacting family, friends and alumni to get involved and help us reach our goal of raising $25,000 to contribute in the search of a cure for ALS.

For your contribution to our philanthropy event, ‘Roses For A Cure’, we will deliver a rose or roses in your name to patients at local hospitals to spread some love and brighten up the days of those who could use it.

We all spend money on things that we don’t need, or make purchases that we regret and can live without. We buy things that we think will make us happy, but do not. By donating $5 to this wonderful cause, you can truly use your money to make a difference for the greater good. Your $5 may play a factor in curing ALS and preventing the future suffering of patients and their families. At the very least, I can personally guarantee that your contribution will go towards putting a big smile on the face of an unexpected hospital patient who needs it.
