They had it in for us, didn’t they? Who’d have thought we were so important?

Who among us hasn’t woken up feeling as if they game has been rigged, the ending decided, and the roles already assigned? That we are being, unwillingly, dragged in the undertow of some oncoming calamity, and if we were just a little smarter, a little more intuitive, or maybe if we hadn't bothered with these questions in the first place, we’d have avoided it?

Warp & Weft Co. will be bringing Tom Stoppard’s absurdist masterpiece to the stage this June.

We are an independent production company, made up of emerging artists -- doing this out of passion and love for the art and the work. Tickets will be cheap, and all earnings will go straight back to the cast/crew, so this fundraiser is for our production costs. We are adept at making do with what we've got -- rehearsals will happen in people's apartments. Props and costumes will be scavenged from closets and junk drawers. Your donations will go towards securing the performance rights for the play ($600), renting a space ($300/night), and obtaining some specialty prop/costume items. Whatever's leftover will add to the compensation for our artists.
