my mom suffered for one year with cancer. she had gastric cancer which metasized to her liver and then ultimately her bones. when we found out it was stage three and quickly within weeks the cancer became more aggressive and became stage 4. my mom‘s death was very tragic for our family. during her treatment at City Of Hope everything was going smoothly up until the 10th month her liver started failing due to the cancer enlarging aggressively. I took care of my mom from beginning of her journey at City Of Hope July 2021 till the end of her last days on hospice in October. this was one of the hardest life experiences, to see anyone die such of a tragic illness such as seeing a parent go through it.
