Rosemary Ehat Lost Everything in a Fire

Hello. I'm Julie Twichell a good friend and partner in activism with Rosie Ehat. On Saturday February 18, fire destroyed Rosie's apartment and she lost everything. Fortunately she is OK and is staying with friends.

Rosie has been living on the edge financially and extremely frugally, most of her life. With no help from her parents, she paid for her psychoanalytic training and became a psychoanalyst. Even then her generosity prevented her from charging the going rate, and resourceful as she is, she has not been able to build up a reserve for an emergency such as this. I know many of us have experienced her giving nature and support. It is not at all easy for her to ask but now is the time for us to help her.

She will need to replace all her furniture, including her bed, kitchen supplies, clothing, computer, camping equipment, rugs, curtains. Everything. And hopefully build an emergency reserve.

Any amount, large or small will be greatly appreciated. We know many people do not have a lot to give and she is also open to in-kind donations. I'll be posting updates regularly including a wish list. Thank you so much! Feel free to share.
