Our lovely friend and big mumma Rosemary Bowa has been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. This is a cancer in the plasma. She has started treatment which consists of chemotherapy and eventually bone marrow transplant. Her health fund is not covering the chemo as it is an injection. They also do not cover the medication she takes home as her cover is hospital cover. A lot of our lovely colleagues and friends have wanted to help and I believe this to be the best way. We would all like to at least take this worry away so that she can focus on her health.
