My mum (Rosemarie) was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer called primary neuroendocrine small cell carcinoma of the breast in January 2019. Due to the rare nature of this tumour, there is no standard treatment approach as there are only a limited number of cases reported worldwide. One month after this initial diagnosis, the oncologist said the cancer was misdiagnosed and she has now commenced treatment for breast cancer. Countless people love her and ask “what can I do?”. This donation page has been established to help her with the long road ahead. Rosemarie would never ask for anything like this, but I have set up this page to assist with her cancer journey. Funds raised will be used for medical expenses, medical bills and home care. Rosemarie has started a long treatment plan which includes chemotherapy, bilateral mastectomy and radiation therapy.
