RoseHill Kids get Growing

Tax deductible
Our children’s charity, Rose Hill Junior Youth club, launched in 2011 and has grown to become a much-loved organisation in the community.

Rose Hill is in the 10% most deprived areas of the UK with 48% of children living in poverty. Child poverty on Rose Hill blights childhoods - growing up in poverty means being cold, going hungry, not being able to join in activities with friends.

Each week, we supported up to 150 children and young people who came to us to play multi-sports, create art and music, learn cookery skills, and meet new friends and eat. They let off steam and had fun whilst developing social, emotional and life skills.

Unfortunately, we had to cease all our regular provisions for children & young people in March because of the Covid-19 crisis. We are now working hard to offer safe, creative, and enjoyable activities for children & young people, focusing on some of the effects of lockdown, such as poor mental & physical health.

We now have a new and exciting project, but we need your help to bring our vision to life. We decided to get our own outdoor space, an allotment!
This wonderful space is for the families, children & young people of Rose Hill - a peaceful place where they can get away from stress, anxiety & worries, have fun with friends free from the confines of lockdown, be physically active, be creative and learn the life skills of gardening & growing.

Please help us to continue the vital work we are doing for the children, young people and families in Rose Hill, by supporting this wonderful project.
 Thank you!
