This is a powerful step forward—made possible by the advocacy, voices, and unwavering support of people like you.

But our work is not finished.

We have formally submitted critical requests to ensure Rosebud is given a fair and thorough chance. These include requiring that any future behavioral evaluations happen only after a structured rehabilitation plan has been developed, put into action, and given time to show real progress. We are also pushing for all future assessments to be conducted by new, impartial professionals.

At the same time, Rosebud urgently needs access to proper behavioral rehabilitation. This means experienced trainers, behavior specialists, and the resources necessary to safely house and support a dog with her specific needs in a rescue environment.

This level of care is essential—and it comes with significant costs.
