Roseanne Marie Garrett, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 2nd, at the age of 74.
Born on July 26, 1951, Roseanne was the second of six children. She grew up with a strong sense of family that carried throughout her life. Roseanne dedicated over 30 years of service to the City of Seattle, where she was known for her hard work, loyalty, and kindness toward her colleagues and community.
After her retirement, Roseanne returned home to be close to her family, where she found comfort and joy in their presence. Despite facing significant health challenges—including cardiovascular heart failure, diabetes, and recurring respiratory illness—she continued to show strength and perseverance.
Roseanne’s last months were marked by courage in the face of illness, and she passed away surrounded by the love of those closest to her.
She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering devotion to family, and the warmth she brought into the lives of all who knew her.
Roseanne is survived by her siblings, extended family, and many friends who will cherish her memory.
Our family is heartbroken over the passing of Roseanne Marie Garrett. She devoted her life to her family and community, and we want to give her the farewell she deserves. Unfortunately, the cost of funeral arrangements is more than we can manage alone. If you are able, we would be so grateful for any donations to help with expenses. Thank you for your love, prayers, and support during this difficult time.
