Hello Friends,
I am humbly reaching out for my Mom, Rosalina A. Gasmin's medical and healing expenses. She is battling against a dreadful disease known as Progressive supranuclear palsy, also called Steele-Richardson-Olszewski syndrome, it is an uncommon brain disorder that causes serious problems. The disorder results from deterioration of cells in areas of her brain that control body movement and thinking.
My mom, Rosalina A. Gasmin was admitted last November 4, 2019 at St. Luke's Medical Center, Quezon City. Doctors from other hospitals refused to accept her, so she had to be taken to a specialist. She is 68 y/o and no longer covered by our company's health insurance. Despite the situation, we remain to have a strong faith in God. In the past weeks, our hospital bill has reached 549,811.23 PHP excluding Professional Fees from her doctors. It is expected that a huge amount will be added as she stays longer in the hospital. The cost of feeling better can be exorbitant and it seems like the bill never stops. We want to give her the best care possible during and post hospitalization.
The support coming from our family and loved ones has helped us cope up from the soaring medical expenses. However, seeing my mom and our family go through this tough time is unbearable.
We are trying to do everything we can to improve her condition and to spend more time with her.
