In Loving Memory of Rose Lentz
Rose Lentz was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother — a woman whose kindness knew no bounds. The type of person who would give the shirt off her back, Rose dedicated her life to caring for others, both within her family and her community.
In her earlier years, Rose served as an assistant in a law office until the birth of her daughter Jenna. Once Jenna entered school, Rose began to volunteer as a member of the Home & School Association. Rose served for many years ultimately becoming Home & School President until 2002 when she moved to a more intricate role within the Home & School Association central office in Center City. She was also a dedicated parent liaison and educational advocate, tirelessly working to secure funding for schools and improve access to special education services. As well as supporting other parents during IEP meetings and educational hearings to make sure students were given the best education journey possible. Her advocacy left a lasting impact on many educators, families, and students.
In 2015, Rose retired from her 30 years of volunteer work to become a full-time stay-at-home Mom-mom, a role she embraced with love and devotion. Unfortunately, in her later years, she was diagnosed with multiple medical conditions, leading to mounting healthcare expenses. These costs became a significant financial burden, one that now falls on her devoted husband, Ed and loving family.
Like many sudden losses, no one was prepared for the emotional and financial toll that Rose’s passing would bring. This GoFundMe has been created to help support the Lentz family during this difficult time. Contributions will go toward covering funeral services, outstanding medical expenses, and other unexpected costs.
Your support, whether through donation or sharing this page, means the world to the Lentz family. Thank you for helping honor Rose’s legacy of love, service, and selflessness.
