Rose Island Farm Bipoc Dreams

Donation protected
Rose Island Farm is a year and a half old Bipoc centered farm in Tacoma, Wa. We share farm skills, land stewardship practices, animal care, food and herbal medicine, and most importantly our cultural practices with our community. It is a sovereign and safe space to celebrate and practice our traditional Foodways in community on the land.
We offer monthly Skill shares focusing on Bipoc community care and food security. Most of what we offer is donated, shared in collaboration or grant funded. Our grant dollars allow us to compensate our Bipoc educators and to cover expenses for our tools and skillshare supplies. Our grant dollars do not allow us to build up any farm infrastructure, therefore our need to fundraise.
The farm has two immediate needs right now,  one is a 120 ft. weather proof fence to protect our young ones and four legged who come visit and play with us on the farm. The second need is for a large order of crushed rock to make a long row for parking on the farm. Both these projects create access or makes the farm more accessible. Access to animal companions, toddlers, elders, and privacy to do our cultural practices without being observed.
We would be so grateful for your financial help to reach our goals!
With gratitude
