Hi, Rose and I (Theo) are a long-distance t4t couple, and we are urgently trying to get a visa for Rose to come live in Australia with me. Rose currently lives in the U.S. which is very dangerous for her under the current political climate, and we are not capable of getting the money needed for a visa application on our own.

We are both 19, and have been together nearly 3 years. I visited her in 2024 for 3 months in America, proposing to her a month before I left. We have not seen each other in over a year, and miss each other terribly. I am studying on Centrelink benefits and Rose has not been able to get a job due to the failing job market where she lives, so a GoFundMe is our best chance at getting her somewhere safe.

The funds will be used to get Rose her passport (~$225USD for an expidited cost), then for a visa consultation (~$160AUD) to find the best and fastest visa for us, (we think it will be a marriage visa or an LGBTQIA+ protection visa, but we aren't sure). After that the rest of the funds will be for immigration lawyer fees, visa application costs, and cost of flights.
