Rose’ trip to Scarborough

On the 13th of July 2025 I will be taking on the challenge of the Swansea Ironman 70.3 in aim of raising as much money as possible for the most amazing little girl, Rose! Both Rose and her friends are planning a trip to come to Scarborough and take part in multiple activities that every 7 year old should be able and accessible to do, even those with super powers like Rose and all of her friends!

Hi everyone, my name is Rose.

I suffered a none accidental brain injury when I was 7weeks old and was picked up by an ambulance crew clinically dead. I spent 2weeks in hospital on a ventilator but didn't respond so it was decided by the medical team to switch it off.........but........the absolutely amazing person I am i took some breaths to cut a long story short here i am 7yrs later.

I live with my adopted mummy and daddy.

I have Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy affecting all my limbs.

I have constant muscle spasms due to this.

I have daily Seizures, Global development delay, limited vision and Scoliosis.

But despite my disabilities I like to live life to the full and mummy and daddy support me in every way....they allow me to do lots of lovely things.

I would like my class mates to join me in Scarborough in the summer holidays and let them explore the beach, the sea and all the atmosphere that Scarborough offers that so many just take for granted with their children....

Things are NOT accessible for me and my friends, with lots and lots of obstacles in our way.

So would you like to help me and my friends get a weekend in Scarborough doing things that lots of people take for granted.
