Roscoe is a sweet, curious rescue cat in need of some assistance.  Sometime yesterday, he uncovered a bit of sewing and thought the thread looked tasty.  The long and short of it is, when he swallowed the thread, the needle went with it. It is now lodged in his stomach and he has to have emergency surgery.

The estimate for his surgery is $4,900. Funds are needed immediately in order to save his life.

Roscoe came into my life at about 6 months old when he followed students off the street and into my school. We put up posters and asked around, but no one ever came forward for him. He is a character who often makes me laugh. He is a chirpy, talkative cat who greets me at the door and yells at me when I step over him in the hallway. 

He's only 7, far too early to lose him. He lost a fight with a door a few years back and we are still paying off that surgery to save his tail. If you can help him or even share his story, his family (3 furry and 2 human) will be deeply grateful. Thank you for your kindness and consideration!
