Wiley‘s family: We need funds. We are drowning in medical bills from unforeseen ailments and illnesses and challenges with some of our most recent rescues. Our first story is our beloved, gentle giant, Roscoe.
We recently saved him from @sjanimalshelter @sjanimaladvocates, where he was facing euthanasia. Roscoe’s story is all too common these days. He was dumped and was found running along busy streets by animal control. It’s a wonder he wasn’t hit by a car.
He’s been with us now for a couple months, but it was very recently we picked up on his pain as certain movements seem to be restricted. We ran diagnostics and did X-Rays only to be dealt very unfortunate news that sadly came with a big price tag.
In short, Roscoe has to have three procedures done including a major hip replacement. He will need to have procedures on his knees done to help reduce the friction of bone on bone. He will also need to have his spine shaved in order to address several abnormalities. Estimates (collected from UC Davis and three other vets) start at $13,000 and could reach $25,000.
We need funds. Plain and simple. Our donations are barren, nonexistent and have been for a while.
We love Roscoe so much and want to do right by him, but we can’t do this without your help. This is a massive bill for our small rescue. If our family our team, our village can come together to help us help him, we would be beyond grateful.
Please consider making a donation. Any amount helps. Large donations go a very long way. We need your help.
