Rosa’s goodbye

It is with the heaviest heart I am writing this today. But on 15/02/2023 my beautiful friend Maria do Rosario Nunes passed away at Bolton hospice surrounded by her loved ones.

Rosa fought breast cancer last year, but 2 weeks ago she was told the cancer had spread to her bones and lungs and that there was nothing that could be done.

Rosa was a true inspiration through it all and fought hard and was still strong and loving even with all the pain she was in.

Her family and friends are now faced with the difficulties of planning and sorting out what will be our final goodbye to Rosa.

We are struggling to cover the costs of the service and funeral itself, even the simplest funeral will be well over a thousand pounds.

Once we have arranged Rosa’s final goodbye we will let everyone know the details.
