Rosario Palomino's Funeral and Interment Services
Donation protected
Thank you friends and family for visiting Rosario Palomino’s fundraising page for her funeral and cemetery services. Rosario passed on Sunday, March 27, 2022 surrounded by family and friends. Her passing is a tragic loss for the family and her community of friends. We are all at a loss for words with how struck we were with the suddenness and intensity of her illness. To her credit, she stayed strong and positive throughout.
Rosario will be buried at Forest Lawn in Cypress. The funds from this gofundme project will go toward her funeral, cemetery services and the lot for her burial. We estimate the amount to be around $24,000. We are asking for friends and family to help us cover $12,000.
In December 2021, Rosario was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. By this time, it had already metastasized into her bones. She had also had a stroke in November which had left her with mild paralysis on the left side of her body. We did our best to keep her comfortable throughout.
She was taken from us too soon, leaving many broken hearts behind. We hope to honor her memory in the upcoming weeks when services are available. We will keep this group updated as to dates and times.
We would be most grateful for any amount our community can donate. She was a light in everyone’s hearts and we will all miss her very much. We wish that she will feel, with this last act of love and charity, the love of all those who were touched in life by her warm light.
Thank you,
Palomino & Almaguer Family
