Help Rosaria during & after treatment
Donation protected
Hi Everyone - my name is Sarah, cousin to Rosaria, organizing this Gofundme with Josephine.
Rosaria is a mother of two that has always put her children & everyone else in her life before her. Asking for help has never been her strong suit, which is why we are here on her behalf kindly requesting your support.
In February of 2022 Rosaria started having a dry cough that made it hard to breathe, along with some other symptoms like arm pain and chest pain. After a visit to the ER in March with severe chest pain (which she states was like heart attack pains) she was diagnosed with B-cell lymphoma.
With the rush to find the best doctors she could, and knowing her insurance restrictions, she started 6-month treatment on May 9th, 2022. Her regimen was EPOCH which is a combination of chemo medications to treat the cancer. The treatment included 1 week in the hospital for chemo treatment & 3 weeks home for the next 6 months. In October 2022, after a number of very long hospital stays, she had updated scans and was told she was cancer free.
On January 6th, 2023 after her 3 month petscan follow up, she learned the cancer had returned, this time in other locations with a new mass in her neck. Her medical team is working as quickly as they can to start her treatment on January 13th.
With this second treatment starting rather quickly it leaves her out of work.
Your donation will directly allow her to focus on her recovery and well-being. More specifically, this will help cover general living expenses including rent, groceries, electrical, etc, while she's in the second phase of treatment over the next 3 months.
Thank you so much for your help during this difficult time.
