On Wed, 11/1/2023 about 5am we got informed that my grandson Zale Thomas's mom was riding her bicycle and was hit and killed in Modesto Ca. on Oct 27th. He just turned 18 in August and now has to deal with loss of his mom and all arrangements. Zale just obtained a job at the local care center as a cook in August also. He has just started his life as a independent young man paying bills. Now he has to began his life dealing with the death of his mom. He is the oldest of 2 children and next of kin that has the responsibility placed on him. Zale lives in Havre Montana, where he has been for the past 3 1/2 years with family.

He need help with cost of $3292.50 to cover of transporting her from Modesto to Fresno, the funeral home cost for prep and paperwork, for the cremation, and then the mailing of her remains to Montana. We estimated the cost of $1500 for gas to get to Cali. For Zale to complete any legalities and to find his baby sister. We have 10 days to come up with the money to get her out of the coroners in Modesto and began process of the cremation. A burial is desired but financially this young man cant do it.
