Rosana & Paulo

Imagine losing everything. Your job, your house, all your possessions and friends’ lives. This is the brutal reality for Rosana and Paulo.

While Rosana and Paulo don’t want financial assistance, they need it, and we’re asking for them.

Rosana and Paulo have been living and thriving in Lahaina for 10+ years and are respectful loving members of the Maui community. They are also the proud parents of a successful, beautiful young soul, Luana. While Luana is doing everything she can to help support her parents, she can’t do it alone as she herself has suffered an immense loss to her business, livelihood, and childhood home.

Last week, Rosana and Paulo were barely able to escape the devastating Lahaina fires with their dog, car, and the clothes on their backs. They are currently without a home or job to return to. Unfortunately, the material losses they’ve experienced are nothing compared to the emotional trauma they’ve gone through and will carry with them for the rest of their lives. While money won’t heal them, it could be the first step in their journey back to building a normal life. Every dollar donated will help feed, cloth, and get a roof over their head while they work diligently to build a new life.

Maui needs all the help it can get, and supporting Rosana and Paulo is one small step as we all work tirelessly to help in any way we can. Any amount you can spare will help these amazing people, who will no doubt be eternally grateful.
