Update: We'd like to thank everyone for helping us hit our fundraising goal for Rosalie and the Zerman family. Although Zach was initially cautious about us starting a fundraiser, him and Abbie are overjoyed with the support from friends and family. Any further financial support will be used towards upcoming costs related to her May 22nd heart surgery and recovery journey. Please keep them in your prayers and wish Rosalie a speedy recovery.

We're reaching out to you with heavy hearts but hopeful spirits as we share the story of our beloved Rosalie. Rosalie came into this world facing adversity from her very first breath. Born a month premature, she encountered complications during delivery, leaving her without oxygen and struggling to breathe. After a difficult start, we were overjoyed to finally bring Rosalie home after her extended stay in the NICU.

However, our journey with Rosalie has been filled with medical complexities. Despite our best efforts, she has struggled with feeding issues since her early days at home. After months of uncertainty, Rosalie was fitted with a feeding tube to ensure she received the nourishment she desperately needs.

Our worries only multiplied when we learned that Rosalie has not one, but four heart defects. While two of these defects have miraculously closed on their own, two remain, one of which requires urgent open-heart surgery on May 22nd of this year.

As parents, our hearts ache with worry for our precious Rosalie. The financial burden of medical bills, countless doctor's appointments, and upcoming surgeries weighs heavily on our shoulders. We're reaching out to our community, both near and far, for support during this challenging time.
